Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about peptide therapy with Soothe IV.
How does the Soothe IV peptide therapy program work?
Five steps. First, you pay for the $50 Application, which covers the entire intake and qualification process — secure health-history form, a brief telehealth Good Faith Exam with licensed medical staff (California's legal requirement before any telehealth prescription), Dr. Tseng's review of your intake, the exam notes, and your labs, and his medical clearance. Adrienne RN is your direct point of contact throughout. Second, you complete the intake form and may upload any bloodwork from the last 12 months; if your existing labs cover what is needed no new draw is required, otherwise we order the appropriate panel at a local testing center. Third, licensed medical staff conduct the brief telehealth Good Faith Exam, then Dr. Tseng reviews the exam notes, your intake, and your labs and grants medical clearance. Adrienne then sends you a few protocol options Dr. Tseng has prepared, matched to your goals with member-rate pricing. Fourth, you pick the level you want and Dr. Tseng signs the prescription with a licensed 503A pharmacy; shipment arrives with a home injection kit and an RN-recorded training video. Fifth, Adrienne RN runs periodic check-ins based on your membership tier; Dr. Tseng reviews and adjusts behind the scenes. We do not ship anything your labs say you should not take.
What states does the program serve?
We currently serve patients in California. Additional states are added as our physician licensing expands. If you are outside California, join our waitlist and we will notify you when service opens in your area.
Which California cities do you serve?
All of California via telehealth, with dedicated service-area pages for Orange County (Newport Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Newport Coast, Coto de Caza), Los Angeles (Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach), and San Diego (La Jolla, Del Mar). Bloodwork happens at any blood-testing center, the process is fully telehealth, and a licensed 503A pharmacy ships to your door anywhere in the state.
How does pricing work?
Membership starts at $149/month for Foundation (one protocol plus a quarterly check-in). Concierge is $299/month (up to two protocols, monthly check-ins, quarterly bloodwork included, priority physician scheduling). Beauty Bank Plus is $599/month (concierge benefits plus cross-product credit toward IV therapy and aesthetics, a dedicated RN, and a 24/7 nurse line). Membership covers medical supervision; any specific protocol and its pricing are determined individually after your Good Faith Exam and bloodwork. The $50 Application is credited to your first month for Beauty Bank Plus members.
What kinds of protocols are available?
Programs are organized into four categories of care: Aesthetics & Anti-Aging, Recovery & Tissue Repair, Metabolic Optimization, and Performance & Vitality. Whether any specific therapy is appropriate for you — and which one — is a medical decision your physician makes during your $50 Application, based on your goals, history, and bloodwork. Your personalized options and their pricing are shared with you in your patient consultation, not advertised publicly.
Is the program medically supervised?
Yes. All prescriptions are reviewed and signed by a licensed physician. Our nursing team is hospital-trained with ER and Critical Care backgrounds. Every patient undergoes baseline bloodwork before any therapy is dispensed, and every protocol is monitored through quarterly follow-ups with repeat labs. We comply with state medical practice standards in each state we serve.
How is this different from buying peptides online?
Research-chemical vendors sell products labeled "for research use only" or "not for human consumption" with no physician oversight, no bloodwork, and no support if something goes wrong. Our program is built around a licensed physician, a Good Faith Exam, required bloodwork, a licensed 503A pharmacy, and ongoing quarterly monitoring. It is medical care, not an unregulated chemical purchase.
Are the medications used FDA-approved?
Some therapies a physician may prescribe within the program are compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Data from clinical trials on FDA-approved medications should not be used to make assessments related to compounded medications. Whether a compounded or commercially manufactured product is appropriate is a clinical decision made by your physician based on your individual needs and current pharmacy availability. We do not make claims comparing compounded preparations to any branded product.
Will I need bloodwork before starting?
Yes — bloodwork is required before any prescription and is repeated periodically while on therapy. To save you a trip, you can upload any lab results from the last 12 months inside your intake form; if the existing panel covers what your physician needs, no new draw is required. Otherwise your physician orders the appropriate panel and you complete the draw at any blood-testing center near you. Results are reviewed before any protocol is finalized. Mobile in-home draws by our RN team are launching for Orange County clients.
Do you take HSA or FSA?
Many physician-supervised therapy expenses may be HSA/FSA eligible when treatment is clinically appropriate. We accept HSA/FSA cards as a form of payment. Eligibility is between you and your plan administrator. Klarna 4-pay is also available at checkout.
Who is my physician and where is the pharmacy?
Our Medical Director is Ian K. Tseng, MD. Good Faith Examinations are conducted by licensed medical staff under California's telehealth requirements; prescriptions are reviewed and signed by California-licensed physicians. Prescriptions are dispensed by a licensed, inspected 503A pharmacy; pharmacy details appear on your prescription documentation.
Can I combine the program with IV drips or Morpheus8?
Yes. Many members combine the peptide program with monthly IV therapy and an aesthetics plan such as Morpheus8 or Lumecca. The Beauty Bank Plus membership includes cross-product credit you can apply to IVs and aesthetics treatments. Your physician will review what is appropriate during your examination.
How long does delivery take?
Once your bloodwork is reviewed and your protocol is signed, most members receive their first shipment within 5 to 10 business days. Shipments are cold-chain when required and arrive with a home injection kit, alcohol prep, sharps container, and access to a recorded RN-led injection-technique video.
